I was given a Craftsman 113 table saw, because the motor doesn't work. When power is applied, the motor hums, but doesn't turn, and quickly pops the circuit breaker. Is this motor fried, or need a new capacator ?

If I am going to replace the motor, apparently I can replace the 1 hp motor with a motor up to 3 hp ? This appeals to me.
