So i picked up this craftsman direct drive tablesaw for free on craig's. It took 2 weeks to remove the rust and free the adjusting mechanisms and now runs really well - like new actually.

Though the rip fence leaves something to be desired for sure.

It does not have any serial number on it anywhere and i would like to know the model of it, and how old it is.

Wondering how much work i should put into this saw, what if the motor burns out? will i be able to replace it or just scrap the whole thing?

Anybody know the model and age of this saw? thanks and happy holidays!

cast extension wings,

the motor below the saw has a 5/8'' arbor with a name plate that says:

capacitor motor ball bearing

3450rpm 60cycle 13.0/6.5amps

type 134-1

at the bottome of the plate next to the word 'code' is stamped c-68

it is a direct drive.
