I have just bought a brick home and part of a wall is damaged and need to be replaced. I have two questions.
One, is there any info i can get that will help me as far as repair techniques, and two, is it feasable for someone like myself who has never worked with brick to try to repair the wall myself.

Hi,
I have replaced several bricks in my home, due to discoloration around the fireplace. It is not an easy job, but I had to chisel the grout from around the damaged brick, remove it, then try and find matching bricks.
