We are getting a new house built and the builders have just poured the foundation walls. Several days after pouring we had very heavy rain. As a result the inside of the foundation walls (basement area) is filled with several inches of water. My questions is, will this harm the foundation in any way as it cures over the next few weeks as the water has been very slow in draining and is still there after several days?

It shouldn't. It happens around here with rain all the time.
