I live in the humid south. Our brick courtyard, which is new, but made of old, salvaged brick, gets very slippery in the warm months. I believe it is from mold and mildew. Spraying with bleach helps, but is very time consuming. Any suggestions?

I don't like the idea of using bleach because you could carry that into the house on shoes and bleach the carpet.
Some other products might work better and last longer. I know Jo-Max works well for house siding.
Or, if you're only concerned about slipperiness, you might scatter a very light coating of coarse sand in the area.
