One severalof the home improvement type shows recently they have showed power operated "blackout shades for the windows in there TV room/home theater. What they haven't done is give any information on who makes these or any sources for them. Does anyone have any information on these that they can pass along to me?

Thanks.

Hi Steve,

Blackout shades are very popular in TV rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms because they offer superior light control and privacy. When pulled down, blackout shades only let less than 1% of light to pass which is likely why they were installed in a TV room/home theater.

Here are some good places to get blackout shades:

I've heard about those blackout shades as well. Maybe you can find them online somewhere.

I'm sure a privately owned local TV shop could help you out on that
