My wife and I recently purchased a brick home that was build in the early 1970's. The brick is a light tan color, mixed with various other colors that have appeared as the result of the age. Neither of us like the appearance of our exterior. Any ideas on how to change the color of the brick, are there any other options other than painting? If painting is the only option, what are the negative aspects of painting brick?
