I have an outside wall around my patio that has very discolored brick in spite of all efforts to clean it.

I was thinking of covering it with brick veneer. I thought i could just cover it with morter and add brick veneer, but from what I have been reading I dont know that it is that simple.

Anyone have any experience or tips with such a project?
