Can granite be cut once installed? I purchased a new LG Over the range microwave Oven to replace a GE Profile. The LG is slightly larger than the GE Profile. There is a plate that fits in back that will not fit because the granite is too high. What to do? I need to replace the old microwave but it is too costly to replace the entire sheet of granite. Help!
