We've recently bought an old house that has an attached room made out of cinder block. The exterior of the block is in bad shape due to weather and ivy being allowed to grow on the wall. Any suggestions on what to do to repair and prevent further deterioration of the wall? I thought of plastering with cement. Anyone tried this?
