I have some 60's style awnings over the windows on the exterior of my house that are well past their expiry date. I want to remove them but they are fastened to the brick with masonry nails and masonry rivets, how do I remove these? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Depending on the exact type and age you may have to grind off the heads or just pull them out with a small pry bar.
