The chimney sweep said that I cant use my chimney without a liner. So I cant use my fireplace.

How do you repair the inside of a chimney?

Is there something you can spray on it or does it need to have masonary brick put up there. Sorry I am an amateur but trying to learn. If there is a crack at the crown does that mean there is a crack the whole way down the chimney. HELP>>>>>>> Who do I call to fix this ?
