My husband is not happy right now...I live in Miami, FL. I planted creeping fig a few years ago and it took over the exterior of my home. I love the way it looks but Needless to say, my husband is now pulling it off because it has caused damage to exterior stucco and is pushing the window frames out. My question...Is there a way of removing the traces of the vines root system without having to re-stucco the house? When you pull the vine off it takes the paint with it. Is there a solution that deteriorates the plants roots?
