Am planning to cover my cement steps with two inch thick granite risers along with the 30 by 60 top step or platform. will also use 1/4 in. thick brick veneer to mask the cement sides and the front of the old risers.

What is most appropriate adhesive to secure granite to cement? Is regular mortar ok or is there a beter adhesive? Am talking about New England climate.
