I want to remodel my fireplace front to be rough stone all the way up to the ceiling. Don't know where to start really. I have done alot of do it yourself projects but nothing dealing with fireplaces. After tearing down the existing front where would I go from there?? Changing the existing front to rough or cut stone shouldn't be that big of a deal should it?
