I've had 3 roofers come out and redo the flashing around my chimmney. The roof is only 3years old. there is a cricket on the back side of chimney. It leaks only during heavy rains/downpours; on the inside of my house(the wetness appears along the bricks below the ceiling on front side of chimney in my living room; its on a downslope of the roof. I've read online that it could be that the mortar between bricks has cracks (i tried a heavy roofing sealant;very expensive) and that didn't work. My question is: who do I call First? a mason, roofer, chimney expert? I've already spent money on 2 flashing-redos. Does anybody have any suggestions. tks, jdcebo
