Interesting website, but highly inaccurate. I plugged in four different propeties of which I know the current value. Two were estimated by the website way under their current value, one way over, and one was about right.

No coverage in many areas. Lacks quite a few locations in the data base.

Value is determined in the marketplace...willing buyer-willing seller. There can be variations of 25% on a street by street-house by house basis. The best determination of value is to retain a local Realtor who really knows the scene and is making local deals on a daily basis.

Yeah that site is a bit misinformative as well as another one that is around I believe it is homevalues.com or housevalues.com . Good realtors know the area well and can give you the best information with regard to the value of a house. Don't rely on bad website information....and certainly DO NOT rely on a refinance appraisal to determine the value of your home
