Hi there! My husband and I just purchased an old farm house in which we plan on remodeling. The interior walls upstairs and down..along with the ceiling are covered in beadboard, but HORIZONTALLY. I really like the beadboard but not quite sure if I like the horizontal look as well as I do the vertical beadboard with a chair rail above it. I've thought about removing half of the beadboard and drywall the top with a chair rail..but I just can't picture how this would look having everything horizontally. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
