What is the best order for re-doing kitchen? I don't want to do everything all at once. Should I buy appliances first, or install cabinets? I can leave floor and walls till last.

If you install cabinets before buying appliances, you can determine what your size limit may be on the refrigerator before you buy it. If you have a built-in dishwasher, same thing. You should plan ahead.

Leaving the floor for last might not be a good idea depending on what type of material you are considering for your floor remodel. If you are planning to use ceramic tiles, you might have to raise your floor height for a cement/mortar bed for levelling and then apply the tiles. Therefore countertop will feel low.

My .02 cents
