There is no problem using pressure-treated inside your house, safety-wise. I'd question the use of it only because the "D" grade treated 1x6 SYP that I sell isn't a product that I'd consider to be quality enough for finish-grade work. The sealing question is easy. You can absolutely seal it with a product like that. Not necessary, but you can do it.
