Hi, I'm new to this board. My husband and I are in the process of remodeling our kitchen. The house was built in 1929, English Tudor style. OUr theme is traditional (keeping with the arhitectural style of the house). We are getting Beech cabinets (natural wood color with pink undertone), stainless steel appliances, and granite countertop (for now we both like Emerald Pearl). Our floor will be oak. We do a lot of entertaining with friends and would like to see an elegant (but understated)and welcome kitchen. Which wall color would give a nice contrast but at the same time complement the Beech cabinets, Emerald Pearl granite, oak floor, and stainless appliances? Any suggestions you have are welcome.
