I'm wanting to put up crown molding on our old lathe and plaster walls but in the past I have had trouble getting anything nails, screws, etc. to stay in the walls. I'm guessing whatever I try to use to hang the molding won't work either? Any suggestions?

There is a new product on the market which has been shown to work as well as nails for such projects as wainscotting and crown moulding. It works with the same principle as a caulk would. Go to a major DIY store and ask about it. I haven't looked for it up here in Canada, but I know for sure you have it in the States.
