I am considering installing wainscotting in my kitchen and have a few questions. First, when marrying the wainscotting to the end of the kitchen cabinets, at what height should the wainscotting be? My top of the counter is 36" but the top of the backsplash on the counter is abut 38". Second, if the base boards used with the wainscotting is different than the rest of the house, should I change all the baseboards in the house to reflect it?
