I really need help deciding how to turn this very plain house into something gorgeous. It has potential, but the previous owner knew nothing about giving a house dimensions obviously. haha

I wish I had a program that will change the color for me so I can see what looks good. I like a very earthy feel. I will use very earthy greens and taupe's inside the home. I want a green/eco-friendly home.

How can I pull that earthy feel to the outside (exterior color/design of the home without going overboard? It does have a balcony, but it is hard to tell and I want to change that. I want to add some curb appeal. Any ideas?

Hi, You can use paint to create the illusion of natural materials such as wood, marble, granite, etc. There are so many natural colors of paint which you can apply as per your choice. The amount of paint you need for each room will depend on the size of the area to be painted.

Hi, changing the paint color of the house would not only make it looks new but also more alive. I guess you just have to pick good color combination and a little imagination for color mixing to make it look a lot differ. Good luck.

Hi svinson13, I think you should visit to a good architect in your local area. He can show you many sample of color combinations so that you can choose one of the best among of them. I'm sure he will help you out.

maybe adding "roundness" to the bars on the balcony or re-do the balcony period. if your wanting to mess around on the computer to see what your house would look like as a different color, i'm pretty sure sites like "photobucket.com" has easy photoshop type of things you can do to change colors and edit pictures. and you call fill in with a color.

the color is dull. i would go with something more brighter and at some modern plants and decorations on the outside to spice it up.

I think dark grey with a bit darker white color for contrast, would look nice and elegant in this area.

Try adding big potted plants on the balcony. You would be surprised how much of a difference it will be.
