Please help an old lady in distress. I'm looking for a dozen metal clips to reinstall exterior vinyl shutters that blew off in a windstorm. These clips consist of two parts: the top portion is a flat strip about an inch wide with a hole and slide which hangs on a screw mounted in brick. The bottom portion is like a binder clip which attaches to a rib on the backside of the shutter. My local hardware store doesn't know what I'm talking about and wants to sell me a new "system." Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

The simpler solution is to place the shutter in the desired location, then drill directly thru the shutter and into the brick using a masonry bit.

Then use masonry type Tapcon screws to simply screw the shutter directly to the brick.
