Am in the same predicament.......

Old ladder, mfgr. ID gone.

One runk lock is missing (NOT safe!!).

If replacements not available, would like to make, if someone has a workable design.

I will take photo of the existing lock, if needed.

I am very interested in your wood blocks you made for your ladder. Would you be willing to share your design with me?? I need to make my ladder SAFE!

When I could not find any replacement rung locks I made my own, from wood. They sit astride one rung and then any upper rung just sits on them. I weigh 250 lbs and have used these many times. Photo enclosed.
