Picture flashes on and off. On start-up screen is black with occasional picture flash for half second. Gradually picture becomes predominant with occasional black flash. Sound is good constantly.

I'm about to check for dust and the blue flash of light, but thought I post before I crack it open.

I found the problem is the high voltage power supply. Can anyone tell me what part to order?

I realize you posted this a few months ago, but I have the exact same tv with exact same problem as you. I'm wondering if changing the high voltage power supply solved your issue and what was the part number that you used as a replacement?
