I would like to install a round window in my interior kitchen 1 3/8" flush door. Somewhat like a porthole. I cannot locate the window frame. I ate at a restaurant that had a door with a 15" round frame that screwed in from one side pulling the other side tight holding the glass. All my "Google" searches led me to Nautical portholes fixtures which I do not want. Any help finding would be appreciated.

Did you ever find a round window for your interior door. I'm on the same search, and so far your question is a close as I've gotten. I saw the treatment in an apartment in Miami Beach last week, but the apt. "came that way".

Try a Custom Van Shop.....Auto supply
....the fixed/porthole windows sometimes use two extrusions that sandwich the sheetmetal/spacer/headliner...."just about" that door thickness.....
"......measure Once.....cut Twice....
throw that one away and cut a new one...."

Best bet is going to a machine shop to have two halves machined out of aluminum block. Cost runs about $250-300 per unit. There's also a company that manufactures something very close if you don't need an exact size. Try http://www.special-lite.com/
