I have a Craftsman Eager 1 walk behind mower a while back the gas tank broke off at the mounting brackets and cannot be repaired( at least with out heavy modification) I have searched and can not find anything for this mower other than blades, spark plugs etc. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to finding a new tank or is it just time to get creative?

Part Number - 917.386240

Serial number: 112296M 001951

Thanks,

Andrew

you gave the model number of the mower not the part number.

usually i can work with this but in this case the sears parts database is giving an erroneous return.

if you can give me the part number of the actual tank(it might be in the owners manual)then we might have a chance.
