I'm a (very) amature builder and after purchasing a small farm house and installing a woodstove I have realized I need outdoor space to store fire wood and I am looking for any advice on how to build a lean-to against the house to store this fire wood or if there may be other more efficient options.
thanks,
scott

- How to build a lean-to....
You may be able to find one of several books published in your library covering this topic of sheds and small storage solutions.
I would caution against building it against the house however. Many insects make their home in wood and it could be that yuou provide an entry point for them to begin dining on the wood of you house.
I store wood at least twenty feet away from my house, covered, and off the ground.
