I want to paint my back patio. It is not a very large area, and it has already been painted over several times. However, it is a high traffic area and also has patio furniture on it. The paint is scratched, peeling, and looks horrible. Also, there are areas where just a strong running hose causes it to flake off.
We tried to paint over it again with a brown color, and added an extender to the paint so it would go on real thin. We then coated it with a sealer (recommended by **********). However, about two weeks later, it started to scratch and flake again.
How should I do this so it is permanent and non-scratchable? Do I need to get a paint remover and strip it down to bare concrete and start all over again? Or do I just paint over the old paint and add a sealer?
Is there any specific product or brand of paint I should use?
I'm really stuck here, so any advice would be great!
