How do you protect floor joist headers from water when building a concrete patio at the same elevation as the top of your floor joists?

Code calls for p.t. rim joist w/26 ga. g.i. flashing.
I'd add a ice & watershield type membrane over that and isolate it with 15# felt below.

26 gauge galvanized iron sheet.. basically any galv. material would work here is a pdf detail I found:
