When we bought our house 11 years ago tgere was a brick patio. During the years we have painted the concrete. However, seems like the last few years when it rainis, the concrete gets very wet. I don't believe it is from the outside rain but seems to be coming up through the concrete. Is there anything you can put on the concrete to keep the concrete from sweating?

There are sealers, but I'm not sure how much it will help you? The concrete would be acting as a wick and soaking it up form the bottom I believe.. all projects are a little different, perhaps try getting the rain to flow away from the patio area may help.. a french drain for example?

I'm not following you. Is your patio brick or concrete? The only way the water could be coming from the ground is if the patio is close to grade. The only way I know is to elevate the patio. I agree with Alterego on redirecting the flow of water. But I do not agree with the use of a sealer because you already painted it. Also, a french drain will cost you more than elevating the patio.
