The deck is several years old. I am replacing a couple of boards that are rotton. I then plan to paint the deck, then use a sealant. I would like there to be a textured feel. What is the best way accomplish this?

Rob007 - hi, someone asked this same question a couple months ago in this forum. As I recall, the response was to add fine sand to the paint. If you search this area of the BBS for the words "paint" and "sand" I think you'll come up with it. Or, you can probably talk with people at your local paint stores and ask them for guidance. I hope this helps - good luck! Jim D/West Point, VA
