We want to replace our wooden deck with stamped concrete, but there is a cistern underneath it. We don't know anything about the cistern except it was installed when the house was built in 1940.Our gutters empty into it. Could it withstand the weight of the concrete? We will not seal it up, but will install a lid to allow access. Who could tell us?
