I am building a two story cedar deck and would like the first floor of the deck to be a screened in porch. What product is out there that can fit between the 2nd floor joists and yet still attach the cedar decking over it. Something of a gutter type metal, plastic diverter. The first floor ceiling will be covered with bead board. I would appreciate the help. I planned on using aluminum coil stock flat on the joists.

Check my deck site links there are 5 or 6 systems' web pages to look at there.

Traditionlly it's duck boards over wet mop. If you are in the right part of the country you could find vinyl, also there are concrete applications but it sounds like you want under deck remedies.. so have a peek at those links.

At the very least you'll be able to get the info to look at to come up with your own system.

Thanks for the post, however none of the links on your page can help. Still looking for a underdeck "roof" system.
