Our wood deck is enormous and is a complete PAIN to keep up! It's only a little more than 4 years old but faces the woods and gets tons of sun -- color fades quickly and stripping/resealing is a frequent task. Is there a non-wood material that can be installed over the existing wood? The wood is still in good shape and we don't want to replace the entire thing. There are 4 sets of stairs, 3 levels and a 20'x20' screened gazebo with cedar ceiling. Overall, the entire thing is about 40' deep and almost 100' wide. Can anyone help?

Depending on your area, you may be able to go with ply & vinyl sheeting, or ply & tile, or cement based decking such as this one http://www.altereagle.com/Compdeck.html
You could also replace the existing decking with composites etc. that would weather to your liking as you see fit?
You could look at epoxy paints as well... you didn't say where you are located or what the decking is so that would be my suggestions.

There are composite decking materials made for walking surfaces that avoid this problem, but it would be a great mistake to apply them over the existing deck. it would trap moisture and the resulting rot would hurry right in, making it spongy, unsafe, and very expensive to replace in a few years.
