Several years ago I made the mistake of using 3" aluminum wood screws to fasten my 2"x6" wood deck boards down. They didn't rust but now they are tightly corroded in place. Being aluminum, the screw heads won't take much torque. What would be the best way to "soften" the corrosion. I'd like to refasten the boards using the same screws. Thank you
