I am looking into installing a patio myself. I want to get opinions of what is best. I want to do the job myself. A paver patio, dig down put crushed stone, then sand and lay the pavers on the sand. Stamped concrete I would probably not do myself. A flagstone patio. I would lay a concrete pad down, then motor the flagstone in. The area is flat and roughly the area is 10 or 12 by 28. Looking for ideas or recommendations. And also, the basement has leaked before against this wall. The patio will go against this wall, will this help the water problem?

Thanks Dave-Maryland
