We just stained our deck with a semi transparent stain...which ended up being pretty dark. We want a lighter color, so what would be better and easier...to stain over with a solid stain or paint it? Will the dark semi transparent stain bleed through the solid lighter colored stain? Would the paint chip or peel right off? Thank you!!
