I'm curious, I recently had a contractor build a patio for me. They used the aluminum insulated panels attaching it to the house. My question is this: My wife wants to hang some exterior curtains for blocking the sun in the evenings. I want to screw in some curtain rod brackets into the side of these panels. But the diagram of these panels show the thin aluminum edging (fascia trim) with the foam insulation behind it. Can I screw curtain rod brackets into this? the curtain panels weigh approx. 7 lbs.

Thanks,

Eric
