When best is a function of
- low (or zero) maintenence
- long lasting
- holds color
- under oak trees in california - so it will stay wet quite a bit
- safe
I've read mixed reviews about Trex and grooved Timber Tech twinside with fastners.
Thanks

I would NOT use Timbertech. Have the floorizon from them. Less than a year old and it is already warping. It covers with mold every time it rains. I'm in the northwest and had alot of trees close to the house.
My Mom & Brother have Trex and less trouble. It cleans easier and doesn't mold after every rain. Even when it hasn't been cleaned for a couple years, it doesn't have the mold the Timbertech does.
