We had a Trex porch built last summer. There are six steps up to the front door. They were so icy this past winter that I feared someone would slip and sue us. We resorted to using ice melt since shoveling alone did not alleviate the iciness. Has anyone else had this problem? How do you solve it?

Hello, I am a representative of Trex. Snow should be pushed off by using a broom. Calcium chloride or rock salt, available in many home centers, will melt ice on Trex. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
