I'm considering purchasing TimberTech XLM decking, but the whitening and blackening issue postings I've seen in this forum have me very concerned. Has anyone had any success with TT XLM decking? I originally purchased Trex Brasilia, then found that it was VERY easy to scratch, and in fact many of the pieces came with deep scratches from shipping. Yesterday I also found out that it has been discontinued by Trex. I'm now going to return my purchase to the dealer and order another product. The TT XLM product is at the top of my list based on scratch resistance and color, but I'm now trying to see if the issue postings I've read are the exception or the rule with this product. I'm also interested to know of any brands of composite/PVC where someone has had a positive experience. Thanks!
