Bvplumbing
What can I do to prevent scalding while taking a shower, or losing water pressure, when another appliance is running. Such as; dishwasher, washing machine, kit sink, toilet, etc... This project is going to be for a house not built yet. I want to avoid the whole thing and get all the plumbing in before it's too late. I am tired of telling everyone not to use the water when someone is taking a shower. The cold or hot I can handle, the loss of water pressure is what kills me.

Most faucet manufacturers make models that have a "pressure balancing" feature. This is what you need. It isn't something one can add later; you must purchase the right faucet.

It costs only a little more, but as you can imagine, is a wonderful safety feature.
