I have floor to ceiling (95") sliding closet doors I wish to update to six-panel folding doors. Problem is I have a 15" gap and cannot fit the 80" folders into top and bottom tracks. Can someone tell me how to frame the existing gap so it looks professional. Thanks, Michael Rose

Finish frame to an inch above the height of the bi-folds, take into account the finish be it 1/2 drywall or 3/4 for 1x. (The finish opening will be listed on the hardware package go by that as all are a tiny bit different)
For drywall we bring in the sides & top down 3/4 of an inch so that the track is hidden & finsh the edge with a J trim... for wood returns add a 3/4 1x to the top & case 3/16 up from that.
Here is an example we did on a project placed on my sites forum: http://altereagle.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=41&forum=8&0
