I am installing a new bathroom in our basement. The problem is that our basement is below our sewer line going to the septic system. Is there a way that I can still put a sink, stool & shower in the basement and get the effluent out to the septic?

Yes. It all needs to be piped into an ejector pit. (like a large sump crock) An ejector pump will then grind everything up and pump it into your existing septic line. You would also need to connect a vent line from this pit to an existing vent line. Time to call a liscensed plumber.
