we are in the process of remodeling a bathroom and are looking at facuetts.

Of these brands - Delta, Moen, Khoeler - what do you prefer and why.

We are also looking at those with a nickel finish, is there anything to worry about with that type of finish?

Here are some things to consider. Washerless, possible ceramic disc, lifetime finish, warranty, lever or knobs (levers better for us 'older' folks) and single or twin controls (H & C). For shower also consider if water flow & temperature are separitely controlled (great to turn water off/on at same temperature setting) and be sure to get 'anti scald' feature. Believe all those brands you mentioned have most if not all those features on some models.
