Our dishwasher is not completly draining when we use it. How can we solve this problem. Not very mechanically inclined.

The drain line could be partially blocked or you could have a malfunctioning valve which is suppose to open and allow the water to drain.If you have any slow drains in the house (ie;kitchen sink) this could very well be a simple problem.If you're not into taking the drain pipe in the dishwasher apart then you best try a plumber.

Hi mcater,

I know this may sound silly but pull out your Owner's Manual for some more info. Usually, there's a Troubleshooting Table/Chart in there.

I agree w/Matches. Either the drain selonoid is 'bad' or the drain, itself, is clogged.
