BillyG: Although I haven't any long term experience with an Americast Tub, I did install a white Americast kitchen sink 4 years ago, and it has held up great against a variety of staining foods, kitchen pots, pans and utensils.

IMHO, since the kitchen sink held up so well, I'd guess the tub should last pretty well since it wouldn't experience the punishment of staining foods and dishes.

Thanks for the quick reply -- if it's good for pots and pans then it will be great for a tub! I noticed that you're not supposed to use abrasive powder to clean Americast, but that should be no problem.
